The Cecilia Beaux Forum

In 2005, the Portrait Society of America formed the Cecilia Beaux Forum as a committee to address particular considerations faced by women in the arts.  The purpose of the Cecilia Beaux Forum is to strengthen the role of women artists by providing programs and resources to enhance the quality of, as well as, the public's knowledge and appreciation of their work. The Forum works through two committees - Mentorship and Literature. The Mentoring Committee is chaired by Patricia Rice and the Literature Committee by Emma Sims.
