Tuition Cancellation Policy: Notify the Portrait Society before June 15, 2020 to receive a full refund. After June 15, 2020, an educational credit will be issued for your tuition less a $100 cancellation fee. Banquet tickets are non-refundable.

Apply for a Scholarship

As part of our ongoing mission to educate the public about the traditions of fine art portraiture and figurative works, the Portrait Society offers opportunities for scholarships based on need and merit.  

  • The Gordon Wetmore Legacy Scholarship is awarded annually for a college or atelier student. This scholarship provides tuition, 1/2 of a shared room and a travel allowance. 
  • Thirty tuition-only scholarships are awarded for artists to attend the annual conference. 

Please note: The scholarship application period will close on January 30, 2020.
