The International Portrait Competition has quickly grown to become one the most prestigious events in the field of portraiture today. Each year the selected works have reflected a unique combination of skill and talent. Winners receive international publicity, honor and recognition.
The International Portrait Competition is open to the public. Each participant can enter up to three slides of their work. All work must be your own original design and concept, created independently, completed in the last three years and never won an award in any previous art competition. All media is accepted and encouraged, both two-dimensional and three-dimensional. Entries must be postmarked on or before March 1, 2010. There is an entry fee of $40 (maximum entry of 3 works). If chosen as a finalist, you must be registered for the conference and be in attendance with your original work of art to win.
