Judith B. Carducci, PSA, has been recognized as one of today's best portraitists. Her work has been honored with
national and international awards and has been shown in such venues as The National Arts Club and the Salmagundi
Club in New York City, The Bennington Center for the Arts, the Cahoon Museum of American Art, and the Butler Institute
of American Art. Paintings by Carducci have been featured in International Artist magazine, Pastel Artist
International, American Artist magazine, The Pastel Journal, The Artist's Magazine, and
the books, Best of Portrait Painting (North Light Books) and Portrait Highlights (American Artist).
She is one of two Americans featured in the book Paint! Portrait and Figure by the Swiss publisher RotoVision,
and her painting, "Xanadu," was selected as one of the "best of the best" by the former curator
of the Smithsonian Institution's Renwick Gallery for the art book Beautiful Things (Guild). Her work is
in collections in the United States, Israel, and Europe. She is listed in Who's Who in America; Outstanding
People of the 20th [& 21st] Century, International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England; is represented
by Portrait Brokers, Inc., and Portraits South; is a member of Phi Beta Kappa; and gives workshops on pastel and
portraiture, by invitation.
The Portrait Society of America is a not-for-profit organization
directed by a governing board of artists dedicated to
fostering and enhancing the practice, aesthetics and applications of traditional,
fine art portraiture.
