| The Portrait Society's 2005 Portrait
Academies |
The Portrait Academy Series is in its third year, and this year we brought our
educational programs to four cities across the country. In addition we made our program available to over
150 high school and college art students through scholarships provided by the Portrait Society.
Four accomplished artists, Judith Carducci, Thomas Nash, Robert Liberace, and Dawn
Whitelaw shared their wisdom and insight to sold-out audiences during the newly formatted workshop weekend.
Attendees had the opportunity to observe a demonstration on Friday evening and participate in a workshop
on Saturday.
